Katja is a Ph.D. student in Industrial Engineering at the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering. She received her B.Sc. degree from RWTH Aachen University in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration with a concentration on Manufacturing.

Her research interests are data-driven transformation and advancements of supply chain systems by employing optimization, data science and machine learning. Her current work focuses on hyperconnected logistics networks and their implementation under the guidance of Prof. Benoit Montreuil.
